Protect the surface by fixing what lies below
Falls set with purpose
We establish gradients that support dependable flow through each pipe run.
Access points included
Manholes and inspection positions are considered for future maintenance.
Surfaces put back
We coordinate backfilling and agreed reinstatement after trenches are closed.
Build dependable flow below the surface
Below-ground drainage has to carry water to the right place and remain accessible when maintenance is needed. We install and renew drainage for building projects, yards and external areas, covering trench excavation, prepared pipe beds, pipe runs, connections and manholes. Correct falls are set so water can move as intended rather than sit in low sections. We also consider where access points belong and how outlets connect with the wider site. Once the installation has been checked, we backfill the trenches and reinstate disturbed surfaces as required by the agreed scope.

Connect drainage with the surrounding work
Drainage often sits in the middle of a larger problem. A yard repair may need a failed section opened, a manhole rebuilt and the concrete or Tarmac® around it restored. New groundworks may require pipes and inspection points installed before slabs or hardstanding close off access. We review available plans, known connection points, proposed levels and site constraints before excavation. Tell us what the water is doing now or what the development will add, and provide photographs where useful. We can then assess a route that fits the surrounding groundwork and finished surface.
Frequently asked questions
Can you install manholes as part of drainage work?
Yes. Manhole installation is part of our drainage capability. The position, depth and connections depend on the drainage layout, levels and access needs. We review these points alongside pipe runs before excavation begins.
How do you decide the correct fall for a drain?
We use the proposed connection points and site levels to establish a practical route and gradient. Pipe type, run length and surrounding construction all matter, so we need plans or reliable level information before confirming the installation.
Will you reinstate the ground after installing drainage?
We can include backfilling and surface reinstatement within the agreed scope. The method depends on whether the trench passes through soil, concrete or Tarmac® and on the loading that the finished area must withstand.
