Leave the site useful for what comes next
Retained areas identified
We establish what stays in place before clearance or excavation begins.
Levels formed for follow-on work
The cleared ground is shaped around the next drainage or concrete stage.
Operators supplied with the job
We deliver contracted excavation rather than machinery hire without a crew.
Clear the obstruction and form working levels
Construction cannot move far while unwanted material, old surfaces or site obstructions occupy the working area. We clear and excavate sites for groundworks, drainage, concrete areas, extensions and redevelopment. The job may involve removing unsuitable ground, opening trenches or reducing levels to create the required formation. We establish what needs to stay, what can be removed and where the next construction stage must begin. That turns clearance into useful preparation rather than simply shifting material from one side of the site to the other.

Plan excavation around services and structures
Depth, ground conditions and access determine the machinery and method needed. Existing buildings, retaining features and buried services can restrict where excavation takes place, so we ask for plans and known service information early. Our own team carries out the contracted work, and every crew member holds machine tickets. Once obstructions are cleared, we excavate to the required working level and prepare the site for drainage, concrete or building stages within the agreed scope. Spoil handling and available loading space must also be considered before machinery starts.
Frequently asked questions
What should be identified before site clearance starts?
We need to know what must be removed and what must remain. Please identify buildings, boundaries, buried services, drainage, trees or retained surfaces. Access dimensions and the planned use of the cleared area are also important.
Can you excavate ready for drainage or concrete?
Yes. We can clear and excavate the area, form working levels and continue into drainage or concrete preparation where included in the scope. Drawings and proposed levels help us connect the stages accurately.
Do you provide machinery with qualified operators?
We carry out excavation as a contracted service using our crew and operators. All four team members hold machine tickets, with team qualifications including CPCS and NPORS credentials alongside CSCS cards.
